I went to see Ty originally to purchase the new Chevy Trax after the total loss of my 2019 Equinox; he was just as excited as I was. After I went for a test drive, he immediately saw the unsatisfactory look on my face, he knew exactly what to do. He verified that I would be okay with the $30 a month payment increase and showed me the 2025 Equinox; I immediately fell in love. Extremely disappointed. We have purchased our last 3 vehicles from this dealership, and always bring our vehicles into the service department. I won’t be back after my visit last week. Dropped my truck off for oil change, alignment, tire rotation, change my cabin filter, under the hood filter. I also informed the lady my AC isn’t blowing cold until I get down the road. She wrote it down. I came back 4 hours later, truck was ready. The guy told me both my filters were good and that he didn’t look at the ac, that I needed to make another appointment for that . I said can I just leave the truck here until y’all have time, he said sure. Well about an hour goes by, he calls and tells me my compressor is bad on my ac I need a new one, and quoted me $2049.00. Well i wanted a second opinion, oh my god, first I have pictures of the filters, both were totally clogged and dirty. Second the problem was my fan and not the compressor. He was trying to rip me off or just didn’t have to look and just told me it was my compressor. Very hurt and disappointed.

Engine light came on and took it right to the dealership and spoke to Eric; I took forever to tell me what they found. cam shaft so I needed receipts and I sent them to Eric . He kept saying every 5000 miles so I need one more receipt. He asked for receipts not invoices. So it sat there and once Eric said he submitted the paperwork he would find out why its taking so long. Well my year of truck is 7500 so he had the paperwork he needed but demanding another receipt. Well Eric never sent the paper work to the warranty company. So after 3-4 weeks I went up there to get things out of my truck and Eric told me to my face that he would call just as he finishes this other customer. Well not hearing from him, I called the warranty company and they let my grandson send it the three invoices and receipts and the adjuster got on the ball. Well I got an email stating the parts were ordered on 6/10/2025 and then dilverrd 06.12.2025 but Eric never gave his techs the parts until I started to complain. My new truck I had less than a year took 2 months and never offered a loaner or anything. In the contract says they supply loaner but I was being told they had none. So I had to rent a car, which the warranty only pays 350..00 when I paid close to 900.00. and I had to pay that just to go to work. I made truck payments but had no truck. my son call and talked to Eric and Eric raised his voice at him and hung up. When I talked to Eric the last time he raised his voice to me . He lied to my face and never sumited the paperwork. You can call the warranty place and see what email it came from.. Being there a couple months , I thought a wash would have been nice. On the back of the invoice states I said I saw a puddle of oil on my driveway. I never said that and I have never seen a leak. I believe he lied about a leak. I still had to pay almost 3000.00 to get it out. What they charged me for was crazy. A oil change when they needed To do that anyway, but was charged. even for bolts. what was wrong with the bolts that was already there. I asked to see any pictures about a leak because I never had seen on or any oli that needed to be added. I never needed to ad oil. I was very upset for him to bring me into his lies to the warranty company. I really believe never a leak because the oil was just done and not one person said they say oil. I am so disappointed and I feel like I got robbed. This place is no good to people and only say what you want to hear. I would like someone to check into this leak and refund my money, I a good woman 62 and I feel in my heart I was robbed. Eric needs to be watch and look at his paperwork and see how he is a liar, I am ready to see an attorney if I don't see pictures of this leak. He showed me a metal piece and said this was the problem. not once did he mention a leak. am I supposed to just believe someone that lied on the phone and to my face. I stressed that this truck is for work and not even a year something happens. I really hope whoever reads this, takes this serious. Erics job is not to lie and make more money on a vehicle that had no lead until I see proof. I am so diisapointed. The sales manager was nice but I think he believes Eric and not me

Truck damaged by lube tec. Poor communicationbyservice adviser regarding pricing. Service advisor unprofessional. I was told damaged part was unavailable due to back order truck sent out with large crack in sharkfin antenna. Ilocated part at another dealer for him. All tires over inflated by six pounds. Never had these problems with past Services at your dealer.

After getting my first oil change from yall my car started running hot. Which led to a whole motor issue because my fluids were not checked when yall did my oil change. I haven't had that car since it broke down back in May. I'm trying to figure out who is servicing that car and for what because I haven't had it since May and yall keep emailing me like I am bringing it in for servicing lol. Yall are a joke. I traded a good car in for a car that didnt last me 5 months and yall won't even try to put in anything else. Nor will yall send me the itemized list of parts and repair so I can settle with the credit company that assisted me with the purchase of the car. After I have spoke with someone on several occasions and was told it will be emailed to me. If you're going to keep emailing me about this car email me what I asked for.

I went for a oil change and tire rotation and my radio was inop. I arrived around 1230pm and didn't leave till 4pm. The never came and checked on me. When I left the lobby and talk to the service advisor he thought I left and had no idea where my truck was. Than I asked if they even looked at the truck and all they did was the oil change and tire rotation. It was a horrible experience. I went home looked up the code and found the fuse that popped for the radio and replaced it and its been working ever since.

My truck's transmission fluid should have been changed prior to me purchasing it used at 46000 miles as GM knew that it would not last the lifetime of the vehicle like they claimed and had several problems with that truck and put out an announcement for service departments to change it to a better fluid and not the factor fluid and to replace the filter. This should have been done before the truck was sold to me but was not and your dealership expects me to pay to have this done after my check engine light came on and had high rpms with a P0700 code. You sold me a truck with known issues that was not disclosed to me and did not replace the transmission fluid and filter as recommend by GM. This will be the last time I buy from your dealership and have hired an attorney to recover my losses.

In the past all of my family bought from Chevy of West until several years ago another name took over and ruined that relationship with the West families. sales associates were pushy and out to make a sale instead of growing a family of customers. Now under new management Al Gutierrez and his team have built up people in their facility that care about customers and family , this is what’s made the Chevy of West a successful Chevrolet dealership . FYI they sold 2 new cars and 3 used cars while I was there buying my wife a 2026 Traverse for Christmas.

Took my 2019 Chevrolet 2500HD thought the glow plugs was going out. They checked it out and unlike some places they actually told me that it was bad batteries! Many would have just changed the glow plugs and charged you an arm and a leg! Thanks Chevrolet of West for being honest and dependable!!

Ashley was awesome she listened to what I had to say and then put it down for the mechanic to check, I did not get the name of the mechanic but he was awesome also They got my truck in and complected in a lot less time than I it would. Ashley explained everything that was done. and gave me a copy of the work. This dealership is the first one I have been to were they take the time to explain things in detail. I have bought at other dealerships and not got the service that I have gotten here.Other dealerships should learn from your example.
